Nitrate is a Half-Life 2 conversion racing game that takes place within littered war-torn streets and puts players behind the wheel of Advanced Assault Vehicles (AAV's). Each driver can personally customize his weapon load-out to obtain an advantage before the two teams crash into action. The goal for each team is to disable the defenses of the other by taking out their generator. The driver then switches vehicles, hopping behind the controls of an advanced prototype whose stolen technology will mean victory for the team.
